Single Dose Plastic Vial
Illustrated User Guide
To alleviate a critical shortage of pediatric multi-trace elements and phosphate injection in the U.S. market, Fresenius Kabi is coordinating with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to increase the availability of Peditrace and Glycophos. In conjunction with the FDA, Fresenius Kabi has initiated temporary importation of a non U.S. approved Peditrace 10 mL Concentrate for Solution for Infusion and Glycophos 20 mL Sterile Concentrate into the U.S. market. Since some users may be unfamiliar with this type of container, this illustrated user guide is intended to demonstrate the steps for proper use of the single dose plastic vial.
The single dose plastic vial is made from polypropylene. The container closure is not made from natural rubber latex.
Twist off and discard the cap on the vial.
Insert the needle into the membrane of the vial.
Draw up the contents.
